Getting here

Three ways to arrive

The ranch sits off Diamond Bar Road in Meadview, Arizona. Whichever way you come, the last stretch is desert road, so allow more time than a map suggests.

Drive yourself

Roughly two hours from Las Vegas, out through the Mojave Desert. Fill the tank before you leave the highway; there is nothing to refuel with near the canyon.

Ranch transfer

Roundtrip transfers run from Las Vegas for day trips and overnight stays. These are arranged by phone, so call 800.798.0569 to book one.

Fly in

Guests can be flown in by helicopter from Las Vegas. Ask reservations what is available on your dates.

The turn off Diamond Bar Road is unmarked in the dark, so aim to arrive in daylight on your first visit. If the road looks wrong, call the ranch rather than pressing on.

Eating here

The ranch house and the bar

The ranch house dining room with long wooden tables, a wood stove and ranch artefacts on the walls
The ranch house, where every meal is served

Cowboy breakfasts in the morning, Western plates at lunch, and a made-to-order dinner once the rides come in. The bar is fully licensed, so a cold beer or a glass of wine is a few steps from the fire.

You do not need to drive anywhere to eat. There is nowhere to drive to.

QuestionsEight

Before you set off

How far is the ranch from the Grand Canyon West Rim?
Twelve miles from the entrance to the West Rim. The ranch's helicopter tour flies the rim directly from the property.
How long does it take from Las Vegas?
About two hours by road. Roundtrip transfers are available and are arranged by phone.
Is there a minimum age for the gun range?
Yes, twelve and up. The firearms used are low-recoil and every session is run by a trained instructor, so first-timers are fine.
Can children join the overnight campout?
Children over nine are counted as adults for the campout. If your group includes children nine or under, add them under extras when booking, as they have to be escorted by a guardian in a vehicle.
Do I need to bring food?
No. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the ranch house and the bar is fully licensed.
Is there evening entertainment?
The campfire is lit nightly with Western musicians playing, with Spirit Mountain behind it. It is included, not an add-on.
Do the rooms have heating and air conditioning?
Yes. Cabins have heating for winter and air conditioning for summer, and several have a gas or electric fireplace.
Is any accommodation wheelchair accessible?
Casey's Cabin has a fully equipped, wheelchair accessible bathroom. Ask for it by name when booking.

Ready to put a date on it?

Check the ranch's live availability, or call reservations and let them build the trip.
